API Terms of Use

Operator: Anay Consulting Inc. (Lowvyn), Canada. By requesting or using a Lowvyn API key you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to call the Lowvyn API and use the responses inside your own product or service, subject to your tier and these terms.

2. Acceptable use

Do not exceed your tier's rate limits by rotating keys or accounts. Do not attempt to access endpoints, data, or accounts you are not entitled to. Do not use the API to build a substantially similar competing price database for redistribution.

3. Attribution (free tier)

On the Developer (free) tier you must display a visible "Powered by Lowvyn" link to lowvyn.com wherever Lowvyn data appears. Paid tiers are exempt.

4. No bulk resale or redistribution

You may use the data to power your product. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the raw data in bulk, or offer it as a competing data feed, without a separate Enterprise data licensing agreement.

5. No personal data

Do not send us personal information about your end users through the API. We log key-level usage (counts, timing, error class, endpoint) for operations only. We do not log your query values or request bodies.

6. Data is provided as is

Prices and scores are point-in-time estimates gathered from public retailer pages and can be stale, incomplete, or wrong, especially for slower-cadence retailers. Lowvyn data is not financial advice. Verify the live price at the retailer before any purchase or transaction decision. We make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime on the free or standard paid tiers. Enterprise agreements may include a service level target.

8. Rate limits and quotas

We may enforce the rate limits and quotas described in the documentation and may throttle or return HTTP 429 when you exceed them.

9. Suspension and revocation

We may suspend or revoke your access for breach of these terms, abuse, non-payment, or to protect the service. We will make reasonable effort to notify you first except where immediate action is needed.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and the pricing. We will give paying customers at least 30 days notice of a material change to pricing or these terms.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lowvyn is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the API, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
